It feels like a family owned bakery that really puts the love into their goods. The baristas are always so friendly too!

You will love this place if you are in the area stop by. The owner can often been seen taking orders and chatting it up with the customers. Great place for coffee but recommend the breakfast sanwhiches which are hand made to order.

I’ve been coming here for over 30 years. You know everything is fresh and when they sell out, that’s it for the day. On a Friday, they sell out of bear-claws before 11am. The only kind of donuts I can’t pass up are old fashioned. Their maple old fashioned are perfect to go with a hot cup of coffee. The breakfast sandwiches take a bit of time to make but they are really good. The staff is very friendly, helpful and feel like family. I will continue to visit for as long as they’re open which I sure will be for years to come.

A hidden gem in Pinole, family owned and operated, employees are all family to Mike and Teresa. Everything from pastries to sandwiches and pizza are amazing!! They will be serving pizza wine and beer for the evenings pretty soon WooHoo!!!!

Just had pizza for the first time , since theystarted serving it, the pizza was very good made from scratch , just like there pastry.I will be back again for pizza. There service is always very friendly , making you feel like your with family.

This place was really clean and has a good service with a good food to eat. The Bear Claw is the best of the last original bakeries family owned for generations and brings the best of handmade pastries, to a great breakfast menu and lunch solutions. Have to say if you want quality at a more than reasonable price you flatter your colleagues and family with a treat from the Bear Claw.

Utterly fantastic - food is delicious and staff is very warm and helpful. The location itself is also very cute and conveniently located near a few free parking lots. Make sure to try the doughnuts! One good thing to note - you can call in and order ahead. This is especially useful at busy times or if you're in a rush. Items like sandwiches are made to order and can take a bit of time, so I always try to call ahead when ordering them.

Good ol' bear claw. Ever since I was a child, I've been enjoying their sweet treats. But they have great sandwich options also! Coffees and teas are available to pair with delicious menu options.

Last November, my kids planned a surprise 70th birthday party for me. They bought a cake from Bear Claw Bakery. I have to say it was one of the best cake I have ever had! I had more then one piece. Now, for the end of summer lost to Covid-19, I decided my family deserves a treat. Calling tomorrow!

Best Pastries, Sandwiches, Mocha's, Pizza, Beer, and Wine

First time I went there I got the hibernator breakfast sandwich it was bomb. Pretty big too I could only eat half of it. I wish they would have asked ne if I wanted people with my eggs.... I dont ever put prettier on my food because it gets too spicy for me.... yes ..... for me it spicy so by the time I got to almost half the sandwich, my mouth was burning up. Maybe they should ask if they want proper and salt in their eggs it would be just a double question right. For me it was too much im due for everyone else is fine. I just don't eat spicy stuff and pepper gets spicy for me. Great job though keep up the good work. Will get breakfast there next time I am around that area.
